DISTINCTIVE DOCTRINE

1. We believe in the inerrant authority of God’s Word, the Bible. Therefore, the goal of our teaching and expository preaching is to rightly divide the biblical text that it may instruct, convict, command, and equip the church for the work of the ministry and holy living.   
   
2. We believe that the church is made up of the people of God. Therefore, we gather together locally as well as join with believers outside of our local congregation to obey the teaching of God’s Word.
   
3. We believe that we are called to be worshipers. Therefore, we purpose to do all we do with the intent to honor and glorify God, both corporately and as individuals.
   
4. We believe there are two sacraments the church is commanded to keep: Believer Baptism (full emersion), which we perform as needed, and the Lord’s Supper (Communion), which we keep on the second Sunday following our Sunday morning service. This Communion service is open to all believers in Christ, and we encourage our guests to consider seriously the consequences of taking this sacrament lightly.
